It’s time for the Cancer Ties 5K, Fun Run & Spring Fest!

Join us for a full day of fun, community, and support at the Cancer Ties 5K, Fun Run & Spring Fest as we rally around our 2026 recipients Kelley Hollowell, Jason Carr, and Amanda Mallow.

It’s all happening at Chehaw Park & Zoo on Saturday, April 25.

Race Schedule:
7:30 AM – Registration Opens for the 5K, Fun Run & Beer Relay (Kubota Stage)
8:30 AM – 5K Begins
8:45 AM – Fun Run Begins
9:30 AM – Recovery Station Opens
9:45 AM – Introduction of Our Recipients (Kubota Stage)
10:00 AM – Race Awards at the Stage

Spring Fest Activities:
10:00 AM – Arts & Crafts Vendors Open + Kid Zone Opens
12:00 PM – Dirt Road Sports Live Music
12:00 PM – Beer Relay Registration Opens (Cancer Ties Table)
2:00 PM – Beer Relay Begins (Kubota Stage)
3:00 PM – Dirt Road Sports Returns to the Stage
5:00 PM – Event Concludes

Bring your friends, family, and lawn chairs for a day filled with running, music, vendors, kids’ activities, and community support. Every step and every smile helps us support these amazing families.

Cancer Ties Inc. is a nonprofit in Albany, GA supporting local families facing cancer. Led by volunteers, we provide direct financial support. Founded in 2007, we’re united by our shared “ties” to cancer—and we are “knot” giving up.
