The Harlem Globetrotters rolled into Albany with plenty of thrills, nostalgia, and 100 years of fun in the making for their performance game on Wednesday, March 25. It’s their most recent return to Albany since their 2023 tour.
A fan-favorite wherever they go, the Globetrotters are celebrating 100 years of entertaining fans around the world. And when they took the court at the Civic Center, they wasted no time bringing over-the-top fun and jaw-dropping moves.
And in the Harlem Globetrotters fashion, they began the show before the game started with plenty of pre-game magic for fans – and traveled through the game with lots of audience interactions and unforgettable moments.

Fans got to enjoy the game between the Globetrotters and their rival team, the Washington Generals – and see plenty of show-stopping moments along the way, including the mascot Globie, and surprises like the new Golden Basketball.
This Albany, GA family-friendly event is the continuation of a compelling season of events and concerts hosted by the Flint River Entertainment Complex, bringing events to the Albany Civic Center, Albany Municipal Auditorium, and Veterans Park Amphitheater.
