Monster Trucks Invade Albany Civic Center In Double Stunt Show

A monster truck prepares to crush cars at the Monster X Tour show at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, GA.

Monster trucks roared back into the Albany Civic Center for an electric family-friendly performance on Saturday, January 10. Returning from a successful show last year, the Monster X Tour brought its best talent once again to Albany, GA.

Crews began the experience with jaw-dropping up-close monster truck interactions from the arena floor for those in the Pit Party. Some even took a spin in the back of a real monster truck as it drove around the Civic Center.

With a collection of several 10,000 pound giants in the arena, these mega-trucks wowed crowds with wheelie contests and freestyle action. There was also plenty of car-crushing action on display with one competitor flipping their monster truck all the way over.

This Albany, GA monster truck show was a pairing of Monster X Tour action along with a special drone racing competition. High-flying drone racers with their custom FPV drones zipped through the air as they raced through an obstacle course prepared for the day.

The January 2-show event kicks off a compelling and busy season for the Flint River Entertainment Complex, which has a powerful lineup of events and concerts in 2026 at the Albany Civic Center, Albany Municipal Auditorium, and the Veterans Park Amphitheater.
