This frozen yogurt establishment was rumored to join the 3 Squares Diner on Westover Blvd, and is now set to welcome guests soon. Residents of the Albany area may remember a TCBY franchise that formerly occupied a spot along Dawson Rd. and closed nearly 10 years ago. This new location will operate in a similar footprint and include a covered patio area for guests.
Just Opened – 3 Squares Diner

Albany, GA 31707

The newest location for 3 Squares Diner is right next to the new TCBY along North Westover Blvd in Albany. Adding to the existing lineup of restaurants, this location comes as a welcome addition to northwest Albany. It’s part of the two unit building that’s shared with the new TCBY detailed above. The location offers a variety of comfort food and adds to the dining choices in the area.
Upcoming – Ellianos Coffee
1185 US 19 S
Leesburg, GA 31763

Adding a new franchise location in Lee County, Ellianos Coffee is set to open later this year. Construction is still underway but the building has taken it’s official shape, which is visible as a drive thru only coffee shop. Ellianos Coffee is no stranger to the Albany area, as it formerly occupied the building where Bob White Coffee now exists. When completed, commuters from Leesburg into Albany will have another choice of drive thru coffee on the way, and the area around Publix and CVS Pharmacy will officially grow by one more shop. More construction in that area is planned for the near future.

One of the most anticipated restaurants to the Albany area is a new Wing Stop location. Focusing on wings instead of just fried chicken, Wing Stop has already made a name for itself in the franchise food business. The company’s focus on a limited menu has contributed to the overall success of this franchise business. Meanwhile, the excitement of residents has been palpable online. The location, situated in front of the Walmart on Ledo Rd, is expected to open soon.
Just Opened – Jack’s
2323 N Slappey Blvd
Albany, GA 31701

After opening a new location along North Slappey Blvd earlier this year, another Jack’s location recently opened along Clarke Ave. in East Albany. The location adds to the area’s variety of quick service restaurants, and sits across from a large Love’s Travel and truck stop. The Love’s location has drawn more traffic to the immediate area. Just like the other Jack’s restaurant, this location offers the same burgers, chicken, and milkshakes to guests.

A new sweet shop offering a trio of items is under construction in the shopping center next to Newk’s along North Westover Blvd. in Albany. Milkster Ice Cream promises to bring a new twist to the ice cream experience by making it fresh in front of guests with the power of super cold liquid nitrogen. The process offers a show for those placing orders and a new experience for everyone. Milkster is also planning to offer a variety of coffee and boba tea options to patrons.
Just Opened – Little Caesars

Leesburg, GA 31763
Located in the building next to the Race Trac gas station convenience store, the newest Little Caesars pizza is open for business and serving guests in Northwest Albany and Lee County. The location joins a handful of others across the Albany area, yet serves as a bit of a bellwether on growth and demand for foods in the immediate Northwest Albany area.
Upcoming – Slim Chickens

Albany, GA 31707

When done right, fried chicken is a wonderful experience – and Albany will soon get one more choice of where to get some at Slim Chickens. The franchise quick service restaurant is expected to open later this summer and offer a variety of chicken choices, including their popular chicken tenders. Albany has a solid selection of places to get fried chicken so this will put those other locations to the test.
